Terms of Use

Belcooker is a personal project run by Rodrigue Philippe, developed in Belgium, which helps you organize your recipes, meal plan, groceries, and food budget. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

The service

Belcooker is provided "as is", free of charge, as part of a personal project. We do our best to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee continuous availability or freedom from errors.

Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential;
• You are responsible for the activity carried out from your account;
• You can invite other people into your household; they will then have access to that household's shared data.

Your content

You remain the owner of the recipes, photos, and other content you add. By publishing them as a public recipe, you authorize us to display them to other Belcooker users.

Public recipes are subject to moderation before publication. We may refuse or remove content that does not comply with these terms (illegal, misleading content, or content that isn't actually a recipe).

Prices and product information

The prices, images, and product information shown come from the Colruyt catalog and are provided for informational purposes. They may not reflect in-store prices at the time of your purchases. Nutritional values and Nutri-Score come from Open Food Facts and are provided for informational purposes, without guarantee of accuracy.

What you may not do

• Use the service for illegal purposes;
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access another user's data;
• Post content you do not have the right to share, or that violates a third party's rights;
• Disrupt the service's operation (overload, automated scraping, etc.).

Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and your data at any time by writing to rodrigue.philippew@gmail.com. We may also suspend or delete an account that does not comply with these terms.

Limitation of liability

As Belcooker is a free personal project, it is provided without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damages related to use of the service, including discrepancies between displayed prices and actual in-store prices.

Changes

These terms may evolve along with the app. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. By continuing to use Belcooker after a change, you accept the new terms.
